Notice on Government Officials Impersonation Scams

The Singapore Embassy in Seoul is aware of ongoing unsolicited phone calls or in-app calls impersonating Government Officials from the Embassy. Please remain vigilant - the Embassy will not call to request your personal information or ask that you disclose bank log-in details. Call the 24/7 Singapore ScamShield Helpline at 1799 if dialing within Singapore, or +65 6869 1799 from overseas, or contact the Singapore Embassy in Seoul directly at +82-2-774-2464 or singemb_seo@mfa.sg if you are unsure if the call you received is a scam.

주한 싱가포르 대사관은 최근 대사관 직원을 사칭한 무단 전화 및 앱을 통한 보이스피싱 사례가 지속적으로 발생하고 있음을 인지하고 있사오니, 이러한 전화를 받으실 경우 각별히 유의하여주시기 바랍니다.

주한 싱가포르 대사관은 어떠한 경우에도 전화 통화로 개인 정보를 요구하거나 은행 로그인 정보를 요청하지 않습니다.

의심스러운 전화를 받으신 경우 싱가포르 내에서는 스캠쉴드(Singapore ScamShield) 24시간 헬프라인(1799), 해외에서는 +65-6869-1799 로 연락하시길 바라며, 보이스 피싱 여부 확인이 필요하신 경우에는 주한싱가포르대사관(+82-2-774-2464 / singemb_seo@mfa.sg)으로 직접 문의해 주시기 바랍니다.
